We all know Ronald McDonald, the guy who smiles and waves his hand to welcome you at, duh, McDonald’s. You’ve seen him in just about every city you’ve visited. Unlike anywhere else in the world though, Ronald McDonald in Thailand has a different gesture. While it is not uncommon to be greeted by the proper ‘Wai’ in Thailand, it is quite a unique experience to get a Wai from Ronald!

He also says “Sawasdee Krab” -- which means hi in
Thai-- to everyone who walks pass him.

Lumpini Park, a great place to cool down from hectic Bangkok, is a huge park located in Pathumwan area, right in the city center. Well-known for its recreational activities, the park is a place of fun for people of all ages. Park activities include: cycling, jogging, singing, yoga, and etc. But we’re not about to tell you things that can be found many other parks in the world, of course…

The highlight of Lumpini Park is the aerobic session where both men and women participate. From 6 pm Monday to Saturday, you will find hundreds of Bangkokian gather around for their daily aerobic in front of the park. You’ll be delightfully entertained by the sheer number of people doing synchronized moves alone.
Feel free to join in!

Want to shop for lots and lots of clothes? Go to Platinum Mall!

Located in Pratunam area, Platinum Mall is the coolest lifestyle retail and wholesale shopping mall. We bet you won’t find any lower price cloths anywhere else. If you buy at least three pieces in each shop, you'll get the wholesale price. For example, a single t-shirt may cost 350 baht, buy if you buy three of them, you can get them at 250 Baht each.

So if you need to get some gifts, or feel like changing all your outfits for the rest of your trip, definitely head to Platinum Mall.

Are you single and lonely? Do you have problems with love or relationship? If so, head to the Trimurati shrine in front of Central World Plaza! Thai people believe that the Trimurati God can help with all all our love problems.

It is believed that the best time to go is on Thursday at 9:30 pm, because that’s when the Trimurati god resides at the shrine, blesses and helps people with their problems. Bring nine roses, nine red incense sticks, and two red candles. (Or you can buy them in a bundle near by the shrine too! how convenient!)

If you have a chance to visit Ko Ratanakosin area and etc. don’t miss a chance to dine at The Deck located in the Arun residence building. One aspect that makes The Deck so unique is the view from the restaurant, The Temple of Dawn, spectacularly located across the river. You’ll enjoy the scenery while tasting their delicious food, whose reputation travels well across the city.

Definitely a place that will keep you smiling.
