We all know Ronald McDonald, the guy who smiles and waves his hand to welcome you at, duh, McDonald’s. You’ve seen him in just about every city you’ve visited. Unlike anywhere else in the world though, Ronald McDonald in Thailand has a different gesture. While it is not uncommon to be greeted by the proper ‘Wai’ in Thailand, it is quite a unique experience to get a Wai from Ronald! He also says “Sawasdee Krab” -- saying hi in the Thai language -- to everyone who walks past him. |

Are you single and lonely? Do you have problems with love or relationship? Then head to the Trimurati shrine in front of Central World Plaza! Thai people believe that the Trimurati god can help us with all of love’s problems. It is believed that the best time to go is on Thursday at 9:30 pm, because that’s when the Trimurati god stays at the shrine, blesses and helps people with their problems. Bring nine roses, nine red incense stick, and two red candles. (Or you can buy them as a bundle right by the shrine too! how convenient!) |
